The CDCP is a federal program administered by Sun Life for Canadian residents without access to private dental benefits. To qualify you’ll need to have filed a tax return for the previous year and have an adjusted family net income under $90,000. Depending on your income, the plan covers either the full established fee or you’ll have a co-payment of 40% or 60%.
One thing worth being clear about: the CDCP is a government benefit, not free dental care, and it doesn’t replace coverage you already have through work or school. Dentists don’t determine eligibility or decide what’s covered, that’s Health Canada and Sun Life. What we do is handle the billing so you’re not paying up front and waiting for reimbursement.

That training is why complex cases, surgical extractions, implants with sinus lifts and grafting, sedation, stay in this office instead of getting referred out.
